Funding Sources

ÌåÓý¾ãÀÖ²¿ is a designated provider of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), The National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP), and the Department of Labor (DOL). ÌåÓý¾ãÀÖ²¿ service centers has successfully implemented programs for Farmworker community for over 55 years. NFJP is a nationally-directed, locally-administered program of services for migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their dependents. ÌåÓý¾ãÀÖ²¿ provides basic, individualized, and training services as described in WIOA Section 167(d) and 134 ( c) 2 and 20 CFR Part 80 to eligible low income, adult and youth migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their dependents. Program services include but are not limited to 
vocational training, on-the-job training, work experience, job readiness, job development, job placement, emergency assistance, and referrals. Career Services and Training grant recipients help farmworkers and their dependents acquire necessary skills to either stabilize or advance in their agricultural jobs or obtain employment in new industries. The goal is for agricultural workers and their dependents to full participation in the local workforce to improve the quality of their lives. Our Employee Service Representatives assist farmworkers to obtain employment and greater financial stability across Fresno, Tulare, Kern, and Kings counties.
